This course work is devoted to the study of lexicography as the science of dictionaries. The work discusses the main types of dictionaries, their structure, functions and features. Particular attention is paid to a comparative analysis of various types of dictionaries, their advantages and disadvantages. The work also contains an overview of current trends in the development of lexicography and prospects for its development.
