GRAMMAR AS A BRANCH OF LINGUISTICS
Abstract
With an emphasis on its definition, significance, and connections to other linguistic studies fields, this article explores grammar as a fundamental field of linguistics. It draws attention to how grammar shapes communication and language structure. The many parts of grammar—syntax, morphology, phonology, and semantics—as well as their roles in the linguistic system are examined in this article. The essay also explores the evolution of grammar as a discipline and how it has affected computational linguistics, translation, and language learning.
