Abstract

The primary concerns of cognitive linguistics and cognitive psychology are discussed in length in this article, along with how these fields relate to one another and to other fields. Language and thinking, language and memory, language and perception, neuropsychology, linguistics, artificial intelligence, and psycholinguistics are all examined in relation to cognitive linguistics. The essay investigates the functioning of cognitive processes and how they impact the comprehension and use of human language.
