ENCOURAGING LANGUAGE LEARNERS WITH SELF-STUDY INSTRUCTION IN PSYCHO
Abstract
This thesis investigates the value of organizing independent work sessions in language education as a means of increasing student engagement, autonomy, and overall language proficiency. In a fast changing educational landscape, encouraging self-directed learning is critical to empowering students. The thesis explores the significance of autonomous work in language instruction, highlighting its function in meeting individual learning demands and encouraging cognitive engagement. Effective organizational strategies are presented, including the formulation of clear objectives, the incorporation of technology, and the significance of regular feedback. The advantages of independent work lessons are also discussed, including how they foster autonomy, responsibility, and important life skills. Embracing autonomous work allows instructors to build enriching learning experiences that prepare students to succeed in their language acquisition journey and beyond.
