IMPLEMENTING AI IN TEACHING WORKS OF ISAAC ASIMOV AND HIS WORLD OF FANTASY
Abstract
Isaac Asimov, a titan of science fiction and fantasy literature, crafted stories that merge imaginative worlds with complex scientific and ethical inquiries. His narratives, especially those within the "Robot" and "Foundation" series, offer rich pedagogical potential for educators. This article explores the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching Asimov's works, focusing on enhancing student engagement, comprehension, and critical thinking. Using adaptive learning platforms, natural language processing, and AI-driven interactive simulations, educators can unlock deeper insights into Asimov’s speculative universes. The article critically evaluates how AI can personalize the study of literature, support differentiated instruction, and simulate ethical dilemmas that mirror Asimov’s narratives. Furthermore, it discusses challenges and ethical considerations associated with AI in education, concluding with recommendations for integrating AI meaningfully into literature classrooms.
