Abstract

This article describes the measures implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan to improve the infrastructure of the Tashkent metropolitan area and improve the quality of passenger transport services. In particular, there is information about the continuation of the Yunusabad line, the construction of new metro stations and the commissioning of the first stage of the above-ground ring road using the technology of tunnel digging of the German company "Herrenknecht AG". Special attention is paid to the procurement of modern metro trains, the introduction of information and communication technologies for the efficient management of the metro, legal and regulatory documents aimed at improving the quality of service, as well as the modernization and renewal of vehicles.
