Abstract

Generally, Present Simple and Present Continuous are two essential verb  tenses in English. These two tenses are extremely important in learning English grammar. Teachers are supposed to teach the present tense  carefully since the present tense expresses actions happening now or  regularly. The present simple tense describes regular habits, general facts,  or general truths like “The grass is green” The present continuous tense  shows actions happening at the moment of speaking, such as “Mosa is  reading a book now” This article is about to explain and teach the  differences between the present simple and present continuous tenses.
