Abstract

This article examines the essential contribution of the service sector to socio-economic progress, focusing on its impact on enhancing living standards and reducing poverty. It emphasizes the sector’s role in creating jobs, increasing incomes, expanding access to vital services, and fostering inclusive growth. Particular emphasis is placed on how services empower youth, women, and disadvantaged groups, alongside the significance of innovation and digital technologies. The article also presents policy suggestions aimed at strengthening the sector’s effectiveness and addressing current obstacles.
