Surunkali depressiya (persistant depressiv buzilish) zamonaviy psixiatriyada dolzarb muammolardan biri bo‘lib, uning uzoq davom etishi va davolashga turlicha javob berishi bilan ajralib turadi. So‘nggi yillarda yangi avlod antidepressantlarining yaratilishi ushbu kasallikni davolashda muhim yutuqlarga olib keldi. Bu dori vositalari an’anaviy antidepressantlarga nisbatan yuqori samaradorlik, tezroq ta’sir boshlanishi va kamroq nojo‘ya ta’sirlari bilan tavsiflanadi. Yangi avlod antidepressantlariga selektiv serotonin qayta qabul qilinish ingibitorlari (SSRIs), serotonin-norepinefrin qayta qabul qilinish ingibitorlari (SNRIs), hamda multimodal ta’sirga ega preparatlar kiradi. Ular miya neyrotransmitter tizimlariga — ayniqsa serotonin, dopamin va norepinefrin almashinuviga ta’sir ko‘rsatib, ruhiy holatni barqarorlashtirish, kayfiyatni yaxshilash va motivatsiyani oshirishga yordam beradi. Tadqiqotlar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, yangi avlod antidepressantlari surunkali depressiya simptomlarini kamaytirishda samarali bo‘lib, bemorlarning hayot sifatini sezilarli darajada yaxshilaydi. Shu bilan birga, ularning samaradorligi individual xususiyatlarga bog‘liq bo‘lib, davolash jarayonida shaxsga yo‘naltirilgan yondashuv muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi.
