ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS A TOOL FOR ENHANCING WRITING SKILLS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING

The fast-paced advancement of technology in the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought numerous changes to education in general and, more specifically, language learning and writing classes. AI-powered apps like ChatGPT, Grammarly, QuillBot, and others enable students to receive instant feedback on their writing, correct grammatical mistakes, enrich their vocabulary, and develop content ideas. This paper explores how AI impacts learners' ability to master English writing skills and discuss how the application of this technology contributes to language proficiency. Based on the analysis of scholarly sources and existing approaches to using AI in the process of writing, this paper proves that AI may be very helpful in improving learners' writing performance.
