Humor and sarcasm serve as vital elements in political discourse, influencing public perception, engagement, and communication effectiveness. This article explores the utilization of humor and sarcasm in President Joe Biden's speeches, examining how these rhetorical devices function to build rapport, soften political messages, and enhance relatability. Through a qualitative analysis of selected speeches, this study reveals the strategic employability of humor and sarcasm in Biden's communication style and its implications for political rhetoric.
