Abstract

Every one of us is drawn to learning more and more as modern life becomes more complex. They are no longer content with "reading," "writing," and "arithmetic." We find ourselves studying languages, business, nutrition, health, and the sciences, among other things. However, we are only occasionally or somewhat concerned about one issue! And that includes studying various language components, vocabulary, grammar, and integrated skills like literature and study techniques. We know that everyone learns differently, so the first step is to determine what works for both us and our children. Students who are aware of their study skills will be able to recognize their study difficulties, create efficient reading plans, manage visual and illustrative materials, extract information from multiple sources for multiple uses, take efficient notes, and write better. Overall, they need to be able to boost their self-confidence in their capacity for learning.
