PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF PREPARING STUDENTS FOR PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

This article examines the psychological characteristics of professional motivation in future physicians. Motivation is defined as an internal force that directs an individual towards achieving goals, professional development, and realizing personal values. The role of medical education in shaping interest in the medical profession and maintaining sustainable motivation is analyzed. The study is based on Bandura’s Social Learning Theory, Deci and Ryan’s Self-Determination Theory (SDT), and modern psychological approaches.
