Abstract

This article examines the key challenges and potential solutions in English language teaching (ELT) within the context of globalization. It highlights issues such as cultural diversity, resource inequality, teacher training gaps, learner motivation, outdated curricula, technology access disparities, and assessment limitations. The study proposes culturally responsive pedagogy, increased investment in resources, continuous professional development, learner-centered approaches, curriculum innovation, efforts to bridge the digital divide, and holistic assessment methods as effective strategies. Addressing these factors is essential for improving ELT effectiveness and preparing learners for global communication demands.
