The research comparatively analyzes the semantic and cultural peculiarities of heroic concepts such as bravery, courage, patriotism, honor, and determination in English and Uzbek paremias. The study reveals that English proverbs mainly emphasize individuality, self-confidence, and personal initiative, whereas Uzbek proverbs focus on patriotism, collective honor, and social responsibility. The article highlights both universal and culture-specific aspects of heroism represented in the two languages.
