LEXICAL DERIVATION OF ARABIC MASDARS IN THE NOVEL “NAVOI”

This article examines the lexical derivation of Arabic verbal nouns (masdars) assimilated into the Uzbek language and illustrates, through examples, the derivative forms formed from them. The study also identifies the parts of speech to which the derived words belong.
